I chose this quote because because it shows that success is never final. It also shows that you are not the best at anything, you can always continue to grow in a part of the thing. This quote tells us that we can always be better at something. It also tells that it's courage that counts and not the success that does. People see what courage you have put in into the task rather than what you have achieved.

In this picture this person is really looks like a good basketball player. Even if he is a good basketball player he will still try to improve on one of the skills he has in basketball. This shows that you are not the best at anything and you can improve and get better at anything. 

Matt Harding Dancing

I think that Matt harding is an expert in the way of connecting to people. He danced in many of the countries in the world and some of the in some countries danced with him o that they could have fun and get to know Matt more better. If I were somewhere in the places he went I would have surely gone there and danced in one of the parts. I would get know better and I could also have some fun. The whole point of the video is to get to know each other in a better way. I also like Matt harding because he makes everyone laugh and makes everyone get to know each other in a better manner. I like Matt and his dancing video.

Compliment Guy Mission

I think that the compliment guys have a great mission to finish and I am sure that they will surely succeed in their mission. I think that people need compliments in their daily life to be happy and I think that shouting out compliments must help them to smile. People who work in offices have a hard day and they need to laugh and smile for sometime. These compliment guys can make anyone laugh and smile because they have a cool way of giving compliments to other people. The people of the university also are happy and they say that "These guys are just awesome". I think that I will also have to go with the same thing because they really are AWESOME.
These guys also make other people feel special by giving them compliments that they deserve. So, I really like the video and these guys who give compliments.

Would you want your future to be decided by others ? Why or Why not?
In the Giver book everything is decided by the community. You can rarely make choises of what you want. Anything you want is decided by the community if you should have it or not.

Unlike The Giver book I would not like anybody to control my future.If somebody would be conntroling my future I would not be able to do anything. The person who would be controling my future will decide what I should do and what I shouldn't do. I don't think anybody in this world would like sombody else to control their future.
If sombody would be controling my future I would not know what is going on ni the real world.

After all this, I would not like anybody to control my future!!!
Don't let anybody control your future.

Letter To John Christopher........

Dear, Mr. Christopher
 I have been reading your books about the tripods and I have enjoyed reading it. Although I have only read the first part of the trilogy, I have some questions to ask you. Where did you get the idea of tripods capturing humans? Where did you get the idea of vagrants? What inspired you to write this book? At the end of the trilogy, will Henry, Beanpole and Will get rid of the tripods and make them leave the earth?
 Even if I still have these questions I have enjoyed reading the book. I liked the part when you said that Will   was picked up by the tripod  and was going to be capped. I was a bit shocked while reading this line because then I was started doubting wether Will would be able to reach the White Mountains or not? I have still read only the first part of the trilogy. I look forward to reading the rest of the trilogy!!!!!

FREEDOM!!!!!!

"The bitter thing was all the spirit, all the gallantry, was wasted. For even more than inferiors, they accepted and looked forward to being Capped. It was a part of becoming a knight, or of turning from a girl to lady. Thinking of this, I saw how good things could be meaningless in isolation. What value did courage have, without a free and challenging mind to direct it?" (p. 111)


This paragraph from chapter 6 is the best quote I can explain  to you why freedom is important in life. 
 
In this chapter big and strong knights serve their lives to the tripods to control them. If they would have not given up their life to the tripods they could have used their own brain to invent new things. By serving their lives to the tripods they now can't do anything new and they can not also lead their own life by themselves. The tripods will control them after capping them and force them to do whatever they want.

To be free in life we need freedom. To get freedom we need to fight all the things that are stopping us to do whatver we want. Also in the book Will, Henry and Beanpole are going to be capped but to lead their own very life they are trying to remove all the things that are coming in their journey to the White Mountains.
